Priority Order for US Visa at embassy | US Embassy starts processing |US visa priorities order | us visa prioritization  

        Due to covid-19 all over the world US embassy closed its offices and most of its staff applicants in mid march 2020

        Handling only emergency visa cases and in person appointments until reopening on a limited basis so, this has led to a massive back log of interviews and processing in this log we will discuss in detail about which visa type has the highest priority order and which has lest priority.

        The state department of  US currently processing the visas in countries that are non Covid lockdown or that don't have serious restriction in place.

1. starting from IR category, Highest priority is given to IR3 and IR4 visa for children adopted abroad by a U.S.citizen.

2. IR2-The IR2 Visa is a Family Based Green Card for minors under 21 years of age of U.S. citizens.

3. Specials immigrant visa working for US government.

4. CR-1 / IR-1 MARRIAGE BASED GREEN CARDS.

5. IR-5 parent of us citizen.

6. K1 fiancé of US citizen and after that all other family based Visa.

7. SE -1 visa foreign employees the US government abroad.

8 All other immigrant visa types including employee bases in diversity visas.

H1B/L/TN AND H2 i.e. non immigrant employee base visas.

10 F/M and j. All non-immigrant students visas.

11 E-1, and E 2 Treaty, trader or investor

12 B1/B2(business visit visa) only those who are eligiblefor interview waiver B1 & B2 who haven’t first time processing an application

13 B1& b2 currently not processing even in countries who have no serious restriction due to Covid-19 pandemic.
